I'm Vee, a Product Manager based in NSW, Australia 🇦🇺

My childlike curiosity and creativity in connecting insights and possibilities are what laid the groundwork for my career success to build innovative tech for people.

Curiosity about tech

At 11, I felt the need to figure out how the digital world worked, and learned coding by "right-clicking" and inspecting the code behind websites. I made random changes to see how it functioned, and eventually turned that skill into a freelance gig.

Curiosity about people

Around that same time, I was transcribing hours of market research focus group recordings, as part of a family business. It taught me how to surface human needs buried in data.

That's still how I believe great products are made.

This early foundation led to scholarships and a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction by the age of 19.

Career Arc

Since then, I've freelanced and contracted across a dozen industries for organisations like NIB, CBA, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation…building websites and mobile apps.

Eventually, I landed in creating product strategies. In the past 7 years I’ve created product visions and brought multiple teams together to deliver customer-centric impact at Woolworths, AU.

Great tech helps people

I’m known for turning complex challenges into simple solutions. Leaders from across the business have tapped my on the shoulder to help them solve their biggest problems in different areas:

  1. For inventory: Identifying incorrect restrictions for online customers, gaining $24M in the first quarter

  2. Transforming a cost-saving 'product substitution' logic into simply asking customers what they want, delivering efficiency benefits of $15M AND a $5M annual revenue

  3. For logistics: Recognising the correlation between heavier orders not being delivered by small car drivers because they lack proper equipment

Most recently, I've shaped AI experiences ready to serve millions of Australians.

What drives me is the ability to continue making things that feel honest and useful for people, things that meet people where they are and quietly make their day just a little easier.
